Top Disney Channel Actors
We all know the names of stars like Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and Selena Gomez. But which Disney stars are on their way to becoming just as well known?
Well, there are plenty of rising stars soon on their way to infamy:
Disney Channel fans will surely recognize Dove Cameron. A singer and actress, this blonde beauty starred in Liv and Maddie, where she played Mal. She continues her work simultaneously alongside films like Descendants and Descendants 2.
Sabrina Carpenter is a young female across who first started off in shows like Law & Order, made some appearances on Chinese television stations and started singing.
Rowan Blanchard is another growing name, a Los Angeles resident born and bred she worked on such hits early on as The Goldbergs and then made an appearance on the remake: Girl Meets World. In the works right now is a piece called A World Away.
Speaking of Girl meets World, let’s not overlook Corey Fogelmanis. Playing the role of Farkle on Girl Meets World, this California native started performing at the age of 6 where he took on the stage, television, and photography. Keep this rising star in your line of sight. Continuing along that vein, Peyton Meyer is another actor showing up on Girl Meets World, and already exploring his acting talents with a variety of Disney films.
Peyton List, however, started off in 2011 with the Disney show Jessie and then moved on the film franchise, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. She has continued her career with teen comedies like The Outcasts released last year. Only time will tell what is in store for this talented young lady.
Disney’s Jessie has also revealed a few other big names to look out for in 2018: Cameron Boyce, for example, had a role in Jessie, then made his way to Grown Ups and Descendants. This Los Angeles native is sure to be seen in many more films to come.
Disney picked up Jenna Ortega for another show, where she plays Harley, the engineering whiz kid just trying to get by as the middle child in a family with seven other kids. More recently, she was included in the cast of Iron man 3.
Finally, there is the Disney Channel starlet Lauren Taylor from the show Best Friends Whenever. She was previously in the remake of Richie Rich on Netflix but had already established herself long before Disney decided to scoop her up.
Only time will tell what lies in wait for these stars, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start following their careers now!
