Meet Acting Teacher & Studio Assistant
DALLAS OLIVER
Dallas Oliver is an actor and teaching artist who knows The Playground Acting Conservatory from the inside out. As a graduate of The Playground, Dallas began her training as a young actor under the guidance of Director Gayla Goehl and went on to build a professional career in film and television.
Dallas’s acting credits include Good Trouble, where she played Jessie, and Drama Club, where she portrayed Meegan. Her additional screen work includes Wanna Play a Game?, Twelve, and So L.A.
Having once sat in the classroom as a Playground student herself, Dallas brings a unique perspective to her work as a teacher. She understands the excitement, challenges, and uncertainty that come with learning to act, and she is passionate about helping young performers develop the confidence, discipline, creativity, and skills necessary to pursue their own goals.
Dallas is especially grateful to Gayla Goehl for believing in her from the beginning, training and mentoring her as an actor, and ultimately giving her the opportunity to return to The Playground as a member of the teaching team. For Dallas, coming back to the school is a meaningful full-circle experience—returning to the place where her own acting journey began and now having the opportunity to help guide other young actors along their paths.
